It’s hard to believe that the Holidays are almost here! We have a list of holiday events in Toledo for you and your family to enjoy.
The Blade Holiday Parade
Who doesn’t love a parade? This year the annual Blade Holiday Parade is on Saturday November 19th from 10am to 12:30pm. It starts on the corner of Summit & Jefferson Streets. You’ll enjoy enjoy giant balloons, local marching bands, clowns, horses, floats and much more to kick off the holiday season. And Santa will be making his debut for the holiday season!
From November 23rd through January 5, the Hensville Lights will shine brignt on St. Clair Street between Monroe and Washington Streets. The tree lighting ceremony takes place on November 23 to kick off the holiday season! And while you’re enjoying the lights, stop by one of the restaurants and bars in the area for dinner and drinks.
Holiday Loop-Light Up Toledo
The final Art Loop of 2019 features the opportunity to shop for gifts and enjoy holiday themed exhibitions. On December 19th from 5:30 pm to 9 pm, explore the downtown creative community.
Lights Before Christmas
Always a favorite, with over one million lights, the award-winning Big Tree and 200+ illuminated animal images spread out across the zoo.
Too numerous to mention, the area has dozens and dozens of craft shows and fairs. Local churches, shops, and exhibition halls offer so much opportunity to purchase gifts and decorations.
The amount of plays, musicals and shows are also almost too numerous to mention by name. From the Trans-Siberian Orchestra to the Gaither’s Christmas Homecoming to the Cirque show, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to explore.
